Problem Statement
Mushroom cultivation is highly sensitive to ambient and compost conditions. Manual monitoring of temperature, humidity, compost pH and moisture is labour-intensive, inconsistent, and reactive rather than predictive, leading to yield loss and disease outbreaks.

Solution
A network of WiFi-enabled sensor nodes continuously streams ambient and compost readings to a local edge server, which synchronises to the cloud. Automated fan and humidifier control maintains optimal conditions, with manual override for growers. An AI vision pipeline analyses camera feeds for growth estimation and disease detection, surfacing alerts before issues spread.

Ambient temperature and relative humidity sensors per room, compost-probe sensors for temperature, moisture and pH, all reporting over WiFi to the edge gateway at configurable intervals.

Threshold and setpoint-based control loops drive fan and humidifier relays to keep ambient and compost readings within crop-specific bands, with manual override available from the dashboard at any time.
